Workshop on Quantum Simulations, 30 January 2020

A very important outcome of PASQuanS is the exploration of end-users applications. We are already connected to interested companies and are looking for more use cases.

We would like to discuss potential business advantages and applications from the developments taking place in the field of quantum simulation with colleagues from industry. On 30 January 2020, we will host a workshop at the Max Planck Institute for Quantum Optics in Garching, Germany. The purposes will be to:

  • Hear about potential business opportunities and applications of quantum simulation across different industry sectors
  • Share industrial perspectives on how developing systems for quantum simulation can be used to solve challenging problems for business
  • Share information on the European strengths and progress in this area, developments within the PASQuanS project, and how this is relevant to current and emerging industry interests.
  • Discuss opportunities to engage with researchers within this collaboration, and discuss funding mechanisms available to support such engagement.
